I know Shreyasee approx from 2008. At the time, we were working together for ‘Surabhi’ channel of Worldspace Satellite Radio. However, I was not affiliated with her event company ‘Fortune Entertainment’ till the time of release of the CD ‘The Collage’. Shreyasee had asked me if I would anchor the event and I had consented mainly to acknowledge and encourage her efforts in this field. This program was conducted in an extremely professional yet very caring manner. Post this event, I was involved, directly or indirectly, in many of the events organised by Fortune Entertainment. Of these, one program was quite memorable and has made a lasting impression on me. This was a program named ‘Saptasur maze’ organised by Fortune Entertainment to honour the Distinguished Music Director Mr. Ashok Patki Ji on his 75th birthday. My close friend 'Vijay Chavan' was cordially invited to attend this program. Vijay was not keeping well at that time. So much so that it was difficult for him to breathe without oxygen support. Nevertheless, he got so involved and enthralled during this program that he actually danced on the stage to the tune of the famous song ‘taang ting tinga’ totally oblivious of his physical ailment. The artist in him was truly exhilarated. I was thrilled to witness the ecstasy of my friend and Vijay’s wife was moved to see her husband’s joy. At that point, Shreyasee and Kedar displayed a genuine concern and a gentle caring attitude. The most heart-warming part was that setting aside the commercial aspect, they gave the much needed latitude to an artist. I think, this considerate and concerned approach makes each and every event organised by Fortune Entertainment truly unforgettable and extraordinary.

Shreyasee had called me a few years back with regard to an album “Collage” that she was making and had asked me if I would choreograph 3 of the songs from that album. She later met me at my home and the way she explained the whole concept of this album, it sounded truly interesting. I was also impressed by the fact that Fortune had planned such a grand event for the release of this CD. I liked the idea of three whole new songs to choreograph. Since then, Shreyasee and me have developed a nice friendly relationship. Whenever there is a novel idea or a good concept, she has called upon me. A bond has developed between us over the period and together we have witnessed a number of events. Those have been as varied as a musical program on Kishor Da, a wonderful exhibition event and a Krishna Ballet! Also I was an invitee for many of the music programs arranged by Shreyasee. One really admirable fact is that Shreyasee gives a lot of thought and attention to even the minutest details while arranging any event. Another exceptional point is that she is always endeavouring to conduct the program on a grand scale and that she never thinks small! This is a very extraordinary characteristic of Shreyasee. It is a very difficult feat to try to float and familiarise a totally innovative idea with the sponsors and to do so on a constant basis at the time of every event calls for a different kind of energy and spirit. Shreyasee has this zeal which is, in turn, also routed to Fortune Entertainment.

श्रेयसी मंत्रवादी...... एक उत्तम निवेदिका ..... एक उत्तम संयोजिका ... एक उत्तम कवयित्री .... आणि सर्वात महत्वाचं म्हणजे निर्मळ मनाची एक स्त्री... जिला समाजासाठी काहीतरी करावं असं नेहमी वाटत असतं. मंदार आपटे मुळे माझी तिच्याशी ओळख झाली... तिने मुलुंडच्या मराठा मंडळ सभागृहात माझा " सप्तसूर माझे " हा कार्यक्रम ठेवला होता. अनेक दर्दी माणसं त्या प्रोग्रामला आली होती . शो हाऊसफुल्ल झाला होता. तिथे लोकांशी आपलेपणाने बोलताना तिच्या गोड स्वभावाची ओळख झाली. सर्वांशी हसत मुखाने ती वावरत होती. त्यामुळे ती सर्वांची लाडकी आहे हे मला जाणवलं.... तिचं निवेदन ऐकलं की असं वाटतं की तिचं वाचन अफाट असणार... तिची ओघवती भाषा.. बोलण्याची कला.. ह्यावरून तिची मराठी भाषेवरची पकड लक्षात येते.... नवनवीन कल्पना घेऊन ती गाण्याचे... मुलाखतींचे कार्यक्रम करत असते... लोकांना काय आवडतं ह्याचा पुरेपूर अभ्यास तिने केलेला आहे हे जाणवतं. तिच्या ह्या web site ला माझ्या मनापासून शुभेच्छा......!!!

मुंबई - मुलुंड येथील फॉर्च्युन एंटरटेनमेंट ही संस्था मला नेहमीच आपलीशी वाटत आली आहे. आजपर्यंत अनेक उत्तमोत्तम संकल्पनांचे आणि अव्वल दर्जाचे कार्यक्रम ही संस्था मुलुंडकर आणि इतरही रसिकांसाठी आयोजित करत आली आहे. या संस्थेबरोबरचा माझा पहिला कार्यक्रम 'मेघा रे मेघा रे...' माझ्या नेहमी स्मरणात राहील. तेव्हा मी मुंबईमध्ये आणि सुगम संगीताच्या व्यायासायिक क्षेत्रात तशी नवीन असूनही श्रेयसी आणि केदार ने माझ्यावर विश्वास दाखवला आणि माझ्या वाट्याला अनेक उत्तम गाणी आली. फॉर्च्युनच्या बॅनरखाली आणि एरवीही या दोघांसोबत काम करताना नेहमीच एक आपलेपणा जाणवतो. कार्यक्रमांची शिस्त, आयोजन, मंच सजावट आणि प्रेक्षकांशी संवाद हे सगळंच वाखाणण्याजोगं आहे. आजवर फॉर्च्युन एंटरटेनमेंट बरोबर केलेल्या कार्यक्रमांपैकी 'मेघा रे मेघा रे, सिनेमातले देव, गुलझार, ये शाम मस्तानी, मदन मोहन आणि ओ पी नय्यर' हे कार्यक्रम माझ्यासाठी अविस्मरणीय ठरले.

भविष्यातील अशाच करमणूक आणि संगीतप्रधान कार्यक्रमांसाठी फॉर्च्युन एंटरटेनमेंटला माझ्या अनेक शुभेच्छा !!

कार्यक्रम रंगतदार आणि बहारदार होण्याचं श्रेय गायक वादक आयोजक यांच्या बरोबरीने जिच्या निवेदनाला जातं अशी श्रेयसी वझे-मंत्रवादी आजच्या पिढीतीतली एक उत्तम निवेदिका आहे. तिच्या व्यक्तिमत्वातली सात्विकता आणि स्वभावातली शांतता , शिस्तबद्धता ,अभ्यासुवृत्ती हे सगळं तिच्या निवेदन शैलीत उतरलेलं आहे.
भाषाप्रभुत्व,उत्स्फूर्तता, सहजता,वेळेचं अवधान, आवाज , अभ्यासपूर्ण संहितालेखन असं परिपूर्ण आणि सर्वांगसुंदर श्रेयसीचं निवेदन असतं त्यामुळे नेहमीच कार्यक्रम अधिक खुलतो. निवेदनासाठी आवश्यक असतं ते समृद्ध वाचन. श्रेयसी ही केवळ वाचकच नाही तर वाचनसंस्कृती विषयी तळमळ असणारी वाचनप्रेमी आहे. निवेदक म्हणून काम करताना तिच्याकडे असणाऱ्या वैचारिक उंचीला संपन्न करतात त्या तिच्याकडे असणाऱ्या इतर कला. ती कवयित्री आहे,लेखिका आहे,अनेक दर्जेदार साहित्यिक-सांगीतिक कार्यक्रमांची यशस्वी आयोजिका आहे . तिला संगीताची उत्तम जाण आहे आणि मुळात सर्वोत्तम काम करण्याचा ध्यास आहे. मला वाटतं केवळ निवेदनातूनच नाही तर जोपासत असणाऱ्या या सगळ्या माध्यमातून श्रेयसी संवाद साधते आणि म्हणूनच तिच्या नावात छोटासा बदल करून म्हणावसं वाटतं ,श्रेयसी मंत्र'वादी' नाही तर मंत्र'संवादी' आणि मंत्रमुग्ध करणारी आहे.

श्रेयसी तुला पुढील वाटचालीसाठी मन:पूर्वक शुभेच्छा !

साधारण १५-१६ वर्षांपूर्वी मला एका मुलीचा फोन आला, 'श्रेयसी वझे' नावाच्या आणि तिने मला सांगितलं की ती संत ज्ञानेश्वरांच्या रचनांवर आधारित 'ओम नमो जी आद्या' हा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करत आहे. त्या कार्यक्रमात मी गावं अशी तिची इच्छा होती. माझी आणि तिची ती पहिलीच भेट होती. अर्थातच पुढे जाऊन श्रेयसी माझी खूप चांगली मैत्रीण झाली. पण सुरुवातीला कार्यक्रमाच्या तालमींना जेव्हा आम्ही भेटत होतो तेव्हा एक गोष्ट मला प्रकर्षाने जाणवली; ती म्हणजे इतर ज्या अनेक कार्यक्रमात आम्ही सहभागी होत होतो त्यापेक्षा हा कार्यक्रम मुख्यतः २ गोष्टींसाठी वेगळा असणार होता. कार्यक्रमाचं सादरीकरण आणि रंगमंच्याची रचना या दोन्ही गोष्टी नाविन्यपूर्ण तर होत्याच पण त्यावर विशेष विचार करून मेहेनत घेतल्याचं जाणवत होतं. कार्यक्रम अनेक जण करत असतात, पण त्यातले मोजकेच असे असतात की ज्यांना काही खास कॉन्टेन्ट लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचवायचं आहे, त्या निवडक लोकांपैकी श्रेयसी मला एक वाटली.

रंगमंचावर ज्ञानेश्वरांचा ध्यानस्थ कट-आउट तसंच वारकरी, पंढरपूर, संतमेळा, विठुराया यांची मोठमोठी हस्तचित्रं यांनी रंगमंच अतिशय देखणा दिसायचा. या सौंदर्यात मंद तेवणाऱ्या अनेक पणत्या भर घालायच्या. गाणी आणि निवेदनाबरोबरच कार्यक्रमातल्या या गोष्टी नक्कीच भुरळ घालणाऱ्या होत्या. कार्यक्रमाचं निवेदन स्वतः श्रेयसी आणि तिचे वडील असे दोघे करत होते. श्रेयसी जरी या क्षेत्रात तेव्हा नवखी असली तरी तिचा अभ्यास, वाचन हे निवेदनातून जाणवत होतं.
आता गेली अनेक वर्षे श्रेयसी कार्यक्रम आयोजित करत आहे, इतर अनेक कार्यक्रमाचं निवेदन करत आहे...पण बाळाचे पाय पाळण्यात दिसतात त्याप्रमाणे त्या पहिल्याच कार्यक्रमात मला जाणवलं होतं की या क्षेत्रातील हिची वाटचाल उज्वल आहे. प्रत्येक कार्यक्रमातून आपण वेगळं काय देऊ शकू याची जाणीव ठेवून कार्यक्रमाची आखणी करणं ही कला मला तिच्यात जाणवते. त्यासाठी पूर्ण मेहेनत घेण्याची तिची तयारी असते. 'ओम नमो जी आद्या'कार्यक्रमाच्या माझ्या आठवणी अजूनही ताज्या आहेत आणि माझ्या नोस्टॉजियाचा भाग आहेत. यापुढेही तिने असाच एखादा कार्यक्रम आखावा आणि त्याचा मी एक भाग असावं असं मला वाटतं. श्रेयसीला तिच्या पुढच्या वाटचालीसाठी मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा !
